191
ﻭَﺍﻗْﺘُﻠُﻮْﻫُﻢْ ﺣَﻴْﺚُ ﺛَﻘِﻔْﺘُﻤُﻮْﻫُﻢْ ﻭَﺍَﺧْﺮِﺟُﻮْﻫُﻢْ
ﻣِّﻦْ ﺣَﻴْﺚُ ﺍَﺧْﺮَﺟُﻮْﻛُﻢْ ﻭَﺍﻟْﻔِﺘْﻨَﺔُ ﺍَﺷَﺪُّ ﻣِﻦَ
ﺍﻟْﻘَﺘْﻞِ ۚ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺗُﻘَﺎﺗِﻠُﻮْﻫُﻢْ ﻋِﻨْﺪَ ﺍﻟْﻤَﺴْﺠِﺪِ ﺍﻟْﺤَﺮَﺍﻡِ
ﺣَﺘّٰﻰ ﻳُﻘٰﺘِﻠُﻮْﻛُﻢْ ﻓِﻴْﻪِۚ ﻓَﺎِﻥْ ﻗٰﺘَﻠُﻮْﻛُﻢْ
ﻓَﺎﻗْﺘُﻠُﻮْﻫُﻢْۗ ﻛَﺬٰﻟِﻚَ ﺟَﺰَﺍۤﺀُ ﺍﻟْﻜٰﻔِﺮِﻳْﻦَ
waqtulụhum ḥaiṡu ṡaqiftumụhum wa
akhrijụhum min ḥaiṡu akhrajụkum wal-fitnatu
asyaddu minal-qatl, wa lā tuqātilụhum 'indal-
masjidil-ḥarāmi ḥattā yuqātilụkum fīh, fa ing
qātalụkum faqtulụhum, każālika jazā`ul-
kāfirīn
And kill them where you find them, and expel them
from where they have expelled you. And slander is
more cruel than murder. And do not fight them in
the Sacred Mosque, unless they fight you there. If
they fight you, then fight them. Such is the
recompense of the disbelievers.
192
ﻓَﺎِﻥِ ﺍﻧْﺘَﻬَﻮْﺍ ﻓَﺎِﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﻏَﻔُﻮْﺭٌ ﺭَّﺣِﻴْﻢٌ
fa inintahau fa innallāha gafụrur raḥīm
But if they stop, then indeed, Allah is Most
Forgiving, Most Merciful.
193
ﻭَﻗٰﺘِﻠُﻮْﻫُﻢْ ﺣَﺘّٰﻰ ﻟَﺎ ﺗَﻜُﻮْﻥَ ﻓِﺘْﻨَﺔٌ ﻭَّﻳَﻜُﻮْﻥَ
ﺍﻟﺪِّﻳْﻦُ ﻟِﻠّٰﻪِ ۗ ﻓَﺎِﻥِ ﺍﻧْﺘَﻬَﻮْﺍ ﻓَﻠَﺎ ﻋُﺪْﻭَﺍﻥَ ﺍِﻟَّﺎ ﻋَﻠَﻰ
ﺍﻟﻈّٰﻠِﻤِﻴْﻦَ
wa qātilụhum ḥattā lā takụna fitnatuw wa
yakụnad-dīnu lillāh, fa inintahau fa lā
'udwāna illā 'alaẓ-ẓālimīn
And fight them until there is no more slander, and
religion is for Allah alone. If they desist, there will
be no enmity except against the wrongdoers.
194
ﺍَﻟﺸَّﻬْﺮُ ﺍﻟْﺤَﺮَﺍﻡُ ﺑِﺎﻟﺸَّﻬْﺮِ ﺍﻟْﺤَﺮَﺍﻡِ ﻭَﺍﻟْﺤُﺮُﻣٰﺖُ
ﻗِﺼَﺎﺹٌۗ ﻓَﻤَﻦِ ﺍﻋْﺘَﺪٰﻯ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻜُﻢْ ﻓَﺎﻋْﺘَﺪُﻭْﺍ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻪِ
ﺑِﻤِﺜْﻞِ ﻣَﺎ ﺍﻋْﺘَﺪٰﻯ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻜُﻢْ ۖ ﻭَﺍﺗَّﻘُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ
ﻭَﺍﻋْﻠَﻤُﻮْٓﺍ ﺍَﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﻣَﻊَ ﺍﻟْﻤُﺘَّﻘِﻴْﻦَ
asy-syahrul-ḥarāmu bisy-syahril-ḥarāmi wal-
ḥurumātu qiṣāṣ, fa mani'tadā 'alaikum fa'tadụ
'alaihi bimiṡli ma'tadā 'alaikum wattaqullāha
wa'lamū annallāha ma'al-muttaqīn
The haram month with the haram month, and
(against) something that is respected applies (the
law of) qisas. Therefore, whoever attacks you, then
attack him in proportion to his attack on you. Fear
Allah, and know that Allah is with those who guard
(against evil).
195
ﻭَﺍَﻧْﻔِﻘُﻮْﺍ ﻓِﻲْ ﺳَﺒِﻴْﻞِ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪِ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺗُﻠْﻘُﻮْﺍ ﺑِﺎَﻳْﺪِﻳْﻜُﻢْ
ﺍِﻟَﻰ ﺍﻟﺘَّﻬْﻠُﻜَﺔِ ۛ ﻭَﺍَﺣْﺴِﻨُﻮْﺍ ۛ ﺍِﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﻳُﺤِﺐُّ
ﺍﻟْﻤُﺤْﺴِﻨِﻴْﻦَ
wa anfiqụ fī sabīlillāhi wa lā tulqụ bi`aidīkum
ilat-tahlukati wa aḥsinụ, innallāha yuḥibbul-
muḥsinīn
And spend in the cause of Allah, and cast not
yourselves into ruin with your own hands, and do
good. Indeed, Allah loves those who do good.
196
ﻭَﺍَﺗِﻤُّﻮﺍ ﺍﻟْﺤَﺞَّ ﻭَﺍﻟْﻌُﻤْﺮَﺓَ ﻟِﻠّٰﻪِ ۗ ﻓَﺎِﻥْ ﺍُﺣْﺼِﺮْﺗُﻢْ
ﻓَﻤَﺎ ﺍﺳْﺘَﻴْﺴَﺮَ ﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟْﻬَﺪْﻱِۚ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺗَﺤْﻠِﻘُﻮْﺍ
ﺭُﺀُﻭْﺳَﻜُﻢْ ﺣَﺘّٰﻰ ﻳَﺒْﻠُﻎَ ﺍﻟْﻬَﺪْﻱُ ﻣَﺤِﻠَّﻪٗ ۗ ﻓَﻤَﻦْ
ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﻣِﻨْﻜُﻢْ ﻣَّﺮِﻳْﻀًﺎ ﺍَﻭْ ﺑِﻪٖٓ ﺍَﺫًﻯ ﻣِّﻦْ ﺭَّﺃْﺳِﻪٖ
ﻓَﻔِﺪْﻳَﺔٌ ﻣِّﻦْ ﺻِﻴَﺎﻡٍ ﺍَﻭْ ﺻَﺪَﻗَﺔٍ ﺍَﻭْ ﻧُﺴُﻚٍ ۚ ﻓَﺎِﺫَﺍٓ
ﺍَﻣِﻨْﺘُﻢْ ۗ ﻓَﻤَﻦْ ﺗَﻤَﺘَّﻊَ ﺑِﺎﻟْﻌُﻤْﺮَﺓِ ﺍِﻟَﻰ ﺍﻟْﺤَﺞِّ ﻓَﻤَﺎ
ﺍﺳْﺘَﻴْﺴَﺮَ ﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟْﻬَﺪْﻱِۚ ﻓَﻤَﻦْ ﻟَّﻢْ ﻳَﺠِﺪْ ﻓَﺼِﻴَﺎﻡُ
ﺛَﻠٰﺜَﺔِ ﺍَﻳَّﺎﻡٍ ﻓِﻰ ﺍﻟْﺤَﺞِّ ﻭَﺳَﺒْﻌَﺔٍ ﺍِﺫَﺍ ﺭَﺟَﻌْﺘُﻢْ ۗ
ﺗِﻠْﻚَ ﻋَﺸَﺮَﺓٌ ﻛَﺎﻣِﻠَﺔٌ ۗﺫٰﻟِﻚَ ﻟِﻤَﻦْ ﻟَّﻢْ ﻳَﻜُﻦْ ﺍَﻫْﻠُﻪٗ
ﺣَﺎﺿِﺮِﻯ ﺍﻟْﻤَﺴْﺠِﺪِ ﺍﻟْﺤَﺮَﺍﻡِ ۗ ﻭَﺍﺗَّﻘُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ
ﻭَﺍﻋْﻠَﻤُﻮْٓﺍ ﺍَﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﺷَﺪِﻳْﺪُ ﺍﻟْﻌِﻘَﺎﺏِ
wa atimmul-ḥajja wal-'umrata lillāh, fa in
uḥṣirtum fa mastaisara minal-hady, wa lā
taḥliqụ ru`ụsakum ḥattā yablugal-hadyu
maḥillah, fa mang kāna mingkum marīḍan au
bihī ażam mir ra`sihī fa fidyatum min ṣiyāmin
au ṣadaqatin au nusuk, fa iżā amintum, fa
man tamatta'a bil-'umrati ilal-ḥajji fa
mastaisara minal-hady, fa mal lam yajid fa
ṣiyāmu ṡalāṡati ayyāmin fil-ḥajji wa sab'atin
iżā raja'tum, tilka 'asyaratung kāmilah, żālika
limal lam yakun ahluhụ ḥāḍiril-masjidil-
ḥarām, wattaqullāha wa'lamū annallāha
syadīdul-'iqāb
And complete the pilgrimage and umrah for the
sake of Allah. But if you are besieged (by the
enemy), then (slaughter) the easy -to -obtain hadyu,
and do not shave your heads, before the hadyu
reaches the place of slaughter. If any of you is ill or
has a disorder in his head (then he shaves), then
he is obliged to pay zakat, that is, fasting, giving
alms or sacrificing. When you are in a state of
peace, then whoever performs umrah before Hajj,
he (must slaughter) hadyu which is easy to obtain.
But if he does not get it, then he (must) fast three
days in (the season of) Hajj and seven (days) after
you return. That's a total of ten (days). Similarly,
for people whose families do not exist (live)
around the Holy Mosque. Fear Allah and know that
Allah is very severe in His punishment.
197
ﺍَﻟْﺤَﺞُّ ﺍَﺷْﻬُﺮٌ ﻣَّﻌْﻠُﻮْﻣٰﺖٌ ۚ ﻓَﻤَﻦْ ﻓَﺮَﺽَ ﻓِﻴْﻬِﻦَّ
ﺍﻟْﺤَﺞَّ ﻓَﻠَﺎ ﺭَﻓَﺚَ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﻓُﺴُﻮْﻕَ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺟِﺪَﺍﻝَ ﻓِﻰ
ﺍﻟْﺤَﺞِّ ۗ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﺗَﻔْﻌَﻠُﻮْﺍ ﻣِﻦْ ﺧَﻴْﺮٍ ﻳَّﻌْﻠَﻤْﻪُ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ۗ
ﻭَﺗَﺰَﻭَّﺩُﻭْﺍ ﻓَﺎِﻥَّ ﺧَﻴْﺮَ ﺍﻟﺰَّﺍﺩِ ﺍﻟﺘَّﻘْﻮٰﻯۖ ﻭَﺍﺗَّﻘُﻮْﻥِ
ﻳٰٓﺎُﻭﻟِﻰ ﺍﻟْﺎَﻟْﺒَﺎﺏِ
al-ḥajju asy-hurum ma'lụmāt, fa man faraḍa
fīhinnal-ḥajja fa lā rafaṡa wa lā fusụqa wa lā
jidāla fil-ḥajj, wa mā taf'alụ min khairiy
ya'lam-hullāh, wa tazawwadụ fa inna khairaz-
zādit-taqwā wattaqụni yā ulil-albāb
(The season of) Hajj is (in) the months that have
been informed. Whoever performs (worship) Hajj in
(months), then he should not say dirty (rafats),
commit immorality and quarrel in (perform
worship) Hajj. Whatever good you do, Allah knows
it. Bring provisions, because in fact the best
provision is piety. And fear Me, O men of
understanding!
198
ﻟَﻴْﺲَ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻜُﻢْ ﺟُﻨَﺎﺡٌ ﺍَﻥْ ﺗَﺒْﺘَﻐُﻮْﺍ ﻓَﻀْﻠًﺎ ﻣِّﻦْ
ﺭَّﺑِّﻜُﻢْ ۗ ﻓَﺎِﺫَﺍٓ ﺍَﻓَﻀْﺘُﻢْ ﻣِّﻦْ ﻋَﺮَﻓَﺎﺕٍ ﻓَﺎﺫْﻛُﺮُﻭﺍ
ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﻋِﻨْﺪَ ﺍﻟْﻤَﺸْﻌَﺮِ ﺍﻟْﺤَﺮَﺍﻡِ ۖ ﻭَﺍﺫْﻛُﺮُﻭْﻩُ ﻛَﻤَﺎ
ﻫَﺪٰﻯﻜُﻢْ ۚ ﻭَﺍِﻥْ ﻛُﻨْﺘُﻢْ ﻣِّﻦْ ﻗَﺒْﻠِﻪٖ ﻟَﻤِﻦَ ﺍﻟﻀَّﺎۤﻟِّﻴْﻦَ
laisa 'alaikum junāḥun an tabtagụ faḍlam mir
rabbikum, fa iżā afaḍtum min 'arafātin
fażkurullāha 'indal-masy'aril-ḥarāmi
ważkurụhu kamā hadākum, wa ing kuntum
ming qablihī laminaḍ-ḍāllīn
It is not a sin for you to seek bounty from your
Lord. So when you leave Arafah, remember Allah in
Masy'arilharam. And remember Him as He has
guided you, even though before you were among
the ignorant.
199
ﺛُﻢَّ ﺍَﻓِﻴْﻀُﻮْﺍ ﻣِﻦْ ﺣَﻴْﺚُ ﺍَﻓَﺎﺽَ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺱُ
ﻭَﺍﺳْﺘَﻐْﻔِﺮُﻭﺍ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ۗ ﺍِﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﻏَﻔُﻮْﺭٌ ﺭَّﺣِﻴْﻢٌ
ṡumma afīḍụ min ḥaiṡu afāḍan-nāsu
wastagfirullāh, innallāha gafụrur raḥīm
Then depart from where the multitude go (Arafah)
and ask forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Most
Forgiving, Most Merciful.
200
ﻓَﺎِﺫَﺍ ﻗَﻀَﻴْﺘُﻢْ ﻣَّﻨَﺎﺳِﻜَﻜُﻢْ ﻓَﺎﺫْﻛُﺮُﻭﺍ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ
ﻛَﺬِﻛْﺮِﻛُﻢْ ﺍٰﺑَﺎۤﺀَﻛُﻢْ ﺍَﻭْ ﺍَﺷَﺪَّ ﺫِﻛْﺮًﺍ ۗ ﻓَﻤِﻦَ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺱِ
ﻣَﻦْ ﻳَّﻘُﻮْﻝُ ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎٓ ﺍٰﺗِﻨَﺎ ﻓِﻰ ﺍﻟﺪُّﻧْﻴَﺎ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻟَﻪٗ ﻓِﻰ
ﺍﻟْﺎٰﺧِﺮَﺓِ ﻣِﻦْ ﺧَﻠَﺎﻕٍ
fa iżā qaḍaitum manasikakum fażkurullāha
każikrikum ābā`akum au asyadda żikrā, fa
minan-nāsi may yaqụlu rabbanā ātinā fid-dun-
yā wa mā lahụ fil-ākhirati min khalāq
When you have completed the pilgrimage, then
remember Allah, as you mentioned your ancestors,
even remember more than that. So among the
people there are those who pray, "O our Lord, give
us (goodness) in this world," and in the hereafter
he does not get any share.
